I am thankful that you took the opportunity and time to look at our website.
We here at the United Reformed Church of Wellsburg are as much a family as a church congregation - but that's as it should
be. You may have noticed from the groups page that we have Bible study, youth group, catechism, and groups for more
mature members along with Sunday School for all ages including adults.
But our groups are not our main strength; our God in Jesus Christ is.
We are fully persuaded that Jesus Christ is the King of the Church and our intention is to live as church as He would have
us to live. The preaching here is both clear and heart-searching as well as practical. The teaching is intellectually
fulsome and able to be grasped by all. But these things are so because it is the Lord Jesus Christ who continues to
"gather, defend, and preserve for Himself, by His Spirit and Word, in the unity of the true faith, a Church chosen to everlasting
life..."(Heidelberg Catechism, Lord's Day 21)
